Meet Deborah Flint, the black lady who commands busiest airports in US

A black, Deborah Flint, is the CEO who oversees two of the busiest airports in the United States.

According to, the lady is the CEO of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), which owns and operates LAX and Van Nuys Airports.

Deborah has been at her post since 2015 and has been the force behind major achievements in the airports she runs.

This is according to Eric Garcetti, the Los Angeles Mayor who appointed Deborah. He had this to say:

"She has put in motion all the key pieces of LAX's modernisation, from the contracts and groundbreakings for the Automated People Mover train and other state-of-the-art facilities to the team that will build the airport of the future to welcome the world in 2028."

Deborah spearheaded a $14 billion capital improvement programme.

Her advancements have included an automated people mover train, a consolidated rent-a-car facility, the Intermodal Transportation Facility West, a new facility for the Airport Police, and the almost-finished Midfield Satellite Concourse.

In addition to the physical advancements, the brilliant young lady has had appraisals for other achievements.

Deborah Flint is known to be an amazing leader who has exercised extreme discipline and made efficient collaborations.

It is reported that Deborah is set to move out for an opportunity that is even higher than what she currently holds.

In April 2020, Deborah will leave her job in Los Angeles to serve as President and CEO of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority that operates Toronto Pearson Airport - the largest and busiest airport in Canada.
