- Little did the newly-crowned Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi know that she had spoken positive words into her life seven years ago
- Zozibini predicted that she would be a beauty queen one day and seven years later has fulfilled her wish
- Even other Mzansi celebs like Somizi and Anele Mdoda also predicted Zozibini's success
Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi, is a perfect example of the power of the spoken word. She predicted her win back in 2012, and has now fulfilled that projection.
While it may seem like just a dream for a small town girl, Zozi believed in her words and her life goal. Little did she know she was actually speaking life and positivity into existence.
According to ZAlebs, Zozi posted a snap of a beauty queen being crowed Miss World back in 2012 and wrote, “One day is one day.” The post resurfaced and went viral since Zozibini’s crowning.
But Mzansi’s pride and joy had to take it one step further and was crowned Miss Universe instead on Monday.
Here are some of the comments from tweeps who agreed:
Even Idols SA judge, Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung, had predicted Zozibini's win.
Somizi met the then Miss South Africa at a shopping mall before the Miss Universe pageant and introduced her as the winner of the Miss Universe competition.
“I joked it into existence and the universe literally responded,” Somizi captioned his video post.
Another celeb who predicted Zozi's win was Anele Mdoda.
Anele was responding to a fan on Twitter who was rebuking the Miss SA pageant over their prizes. Anele said Zozibini would swop her life in Mzansi for a flashy pad in New York as part of her Miss Universe win. How spot on was she?
Earlier today, Briefly.co.za took a look at 10 of the most beautiful snaps Zozibini Tunzi had shared on social media that show off her loveliness.
Miss SA, Zozibini Tunzi, has been crowned Miss Universe, outclassing 90 other contestants for the title. There is no denying that there's something special about this young woman. Not only is she gorgeous, but she's inspiring and wise, as well as a woman with a good heart.
The 26-year-old has been challenging beauty stereotypes from the moment she was crowned Miss South Africa on 9 August.
