Rasta's been 'framed': Fake portrait of Zozibini Tunzi surfaces

- Lebani "Rasta" Sirenje has shut down rumours that he was behind an awful portrait of Miss Universe

- Rasta said someone photoshopped an old photo of his to make it look bad

- The infamous artist shared the original photo, proving his innocence

Infamous local artist Lebani Sirenje - who is popularly known as Rasta - has defended himself after a horrible portrait surfaced of Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi.

A photo has surfaced online showing an portrait of Zozi, allegedly done by Rasta. The photo had social media users calling the infamous artist to order but he has since pleaded innocent.

Rasta took to his Twitter page to post a snap of the alleged Miss Universe portrait next to the original photo that was clearly photoshopped.

He wrote:

"The photo on the left is false, it's Photoshop of the one on right, please retweet for awareness."

South Africans were relieved that the painting of Zozi was a fake and Briefly.co.za tool a look at some of the reactions the tweet gathered.

Mmaomphile, who goes by the Twitter handle @lisebojn, commented:

"They want to discredit you wena Rasta. I can’t wait to see that Zozibini portrait you are busy with though."

Shirmoney Rhode, @ShimmyRhode, wrote:

"You did amazing with the Siya portrait Rasta. Go ahead and paint Zozi. You will do just fine."
