- Springbok captain Siya Kolisi became a victim of crime this week
- The famous rugby player's car was broken into by a criminal
- According to Rachel Kolisi, the alleged thug was caught red-handed by a car guard
Springbok captain Siya Kolisi's car was broken into this week - according to his wife's Instagram stories.
Rachel Kolisi took to the social media platform to detail how a thug allegedly broke into her hubby's car before his plans were foiled by a car guard.
The beautiful Mrs Kolisi said they tried to call 10111 but no one answered.
“Siya's car was broken into two hours ago. The car guard caught the guy. We called the cops and still waiting for them to arrive. Also, don't ever bother calling 10111. They literally don't answer the phone.”
Rachel added that when the car guard said when the police eventually did show up, they'd simply give the thug a slap on the wrist and let him off with a warning.
Her Insta Stories added:
“The car guard said once the cops are here, they're going to give the guy a warning and release him. And they wonder why crime stats are through the roof out here.”
Rachel tailed the security car to a nearby police station where they arrested the alleged thug and took their statements.
“They arrested him and took statements from me and the car guard. Grateful something was done,” she said.
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Siya Kolisi's entire week was not all bad. The Bok captain bagged a nomination for the BBC World Sports Star of the Year award. He is up against Tiger Woods and runner Eliud Kipchoge, among others.
