Patrice Motsepe and his foundation have spread the Christmas cheer to needy children by giving away goodies at the Orlando Stadium.
The billionaire and his wife braved the rain to bring joy to many underprivileged children.
Pictures from the event were shared on the Motsepe Foundation Facebook page. The charity drive was held at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.
The programme is focused on the spirit of giving and sharing, born out of the recognition that millions of underprivileged children cannot share the cheer and joy that traditionally comes during the Christmas season. The children arrived in huge numbers to receive their Christmas gifts.
Social media users praised the Motsepes for their generous hearts. Facebook user Moeng Mandisa Wealthy Ledwaba said:
"May God enlarge your territory. May God bless and strengthen your hands Ntate le Mme Motsepe. You are indeed our Abraham and Sarah"
Nomfundo Ntshangase said:
"Merry Christmas to the little dear ones"
