Rachel Kolisi, wife of Springbok captain, Siya Kolisi, has slammed the South African Police Services for their lack of competence when her husband’s car was broken into recently.

According to ZAlebs and in a now-deleted post on Instagram, Rachel explained that several attempts to call 10111 were fruitless.

Rachel narrated that it was the car guard who had caught the alleged offender.

“Siya’s car was broken into two hours ago. The car guard caught the guy. We called the cops and still waiting for them to arrive. Also, don’t ever bother calling 10111. They literally don’t answer the phone.
“The car guard said once the cops are here, they’re going to give the guy a warning and release him. And they wonder why crime stats are through the roof out here.”

Then Rachel added that she and the security guard resolved to take the offender to the police station themselves, where he was arrested.

“They arrested him and took statements from me and the car guard. Grateful something was done,” said Rachel.

This was another story added to the many revelations about the incompetence of the SAPS. There are many policemen who are dedicated to the job, but it’s sad that a handful of lazy cops give them all a bad name.

Meanwhile, about a month ago, Briefly.co.za reported that the wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, Rachel, had been dragged, roasted and insulted endlessly by social media trolls with really bad attitudes after SA's World Cup win.

While it seems that jealousy is the reason for this, many others have been defending Rachel since the negativity first started.

After social media users 'warned' Rachel to keep her cool amid all the attention her husband was getting, there were people who were claiming Siya had a 'moment' with Miss SA, Zozibini Tunzi.
