- An unhappy and concerned fan asked rapper K.O why he always gets overlooked by the hip-hop industry
- The muso responded by saying he doesn't get involved in hip-hop 'politics' and that's why he isn't recognised as mucwa
- He added that he decided ages ago that he would not go into that part of the music world
It's not uncommon for fans of musicians to feel that their idol isn't appreciated enough.
One such fan took their concern straight to the musician they admire, K.O. The fan asked why K.O is always getting overlooked, and the rapper gave his honest opinion - politics.
According to SAHipHopMag, K.O decided long ago that he would not get involved in the political side of the music game.
This comes a few weeks after the musician missed out on an award at the South African Hip Hop Awards.
K.O had to make it clear to his upset fans that he wasn't disappointed and didn't expect to win anything.
"To be clear, no I wasn’t RoBbEd! I didn’t campaign at all & went into #SAHHA2019 consciously expecting nothing. My focus was more on killing my #SupaDupa performance."
Earlier, Cassper also got upset over recognition, or lack thereof, in the music world. He spoke up about the #BaseHottestMC list that placed Nadia Nakai in the number 10 spot.
Cassper feels that Nadia deserves to be much higher and went on a rant on social media.
