Youngster, 11, uses birthday money to buy food for homeless people

A proud father has shared a heart-warming story about the generosity of his son. The 11-year-old used his birthday money to feed seven homeless people.

Johan Basson took to the #ImStaying group on Facebook. He shared photos of his son with two of the disadvantaged people that he helped. The photos were captioned:

"So utterly proud of this little man, decided on his 11th birthday to take some of his birthday money, and he bought food and fed 7 homeless people today, well done!"

Social media users were impressed by the young boy's act of kindness. Facebook user Veneshian Padayachee said:
