- South Africans had a good laugh, but also admired a man's quick-thinking
- In the pouring rain, he offered strangers a ride on his trolley to cross a flooded road
- The man charged R10 for this little service and social media users praised his entrepreneurial spirit
A hilarious video has been doing the rounds on social media, which shows a man using lemons to make lemonade.
The weather was terrible and the roads were flooded as a result of the pouring rain.
However, instead of seeing doom and gloom, the young man saw opportunity.
He utilised a trolley and offered passers-by a ride across the flooded road.
Some were keen to avoid getting their clothes drenched and were all too happy to make use of his services.
Briefly.co.za gathered that he charged a nominal fee of R10 for the service - as per Twitter user @Butter_Nut2, who shared the video.
The video got tweeps to chuckle, but they also acknowledged the man's business sense.
Future Farmer (@Kaytee_Makae) loved the entrepreneurial spirit:
"That is awesome entrepreneurial skills on 1 000."
Yvette Diedricks (@YvetteDiedricks) added,
"That’s what you call an entrepreneur. Love it."
Ride or Die (@Minora247) felt there was a valuable lesson to be learnt:
"And the lesson is to look for opportunities where people see obstacles."
