The eNCA has withdrawn from the EFF's elective conference this weekend. The party has been accused of creating a media blackout by refusing to grant accreditation to a number of journalists from high profile media houses.
Briefly.co.za has learned that some of the media houses have stated that the EFF has done this in retaliation of their coving of the VBS scandal and the party's leader Julius Malema.
Jeremy Maggs, an editor, has condemned the EFF in the 'strongest possible terms', for what he calls an attack on media freedom according to eNCA.com.
Briefly.co.za covered an article earlier today about another news house which has stated that it would be taking the EFF to court of their refusal to grant them accreditation.
The EFF has said that there is a lack of capacity at the venue which has resulted in some media houses not being given accreditation.
