Popular influencer Thickleeyonce has been blessed with a second chance at life - that's how she feels after surviving a car accident.

Just a few weeks ago, Lee (as some of her fans call her) shared the disturbing news on social media.

She said that doctors felt her survival was a miracle, although she did suffer injuries. She had broken seven ribs and spent time in the ICU to recover.

Now Lee's opened up in a video about the accident and how it affected her.

"My body was upside down... and I could feel blood all over my face... I remember looking at the car and I could not believe what just happened.
"I'm blessed to be sitting here, to still be alive."

Lee feels that she is being watched over by God and His grace.

"This whole experience has bought me closer to God. There's no way I cannot be grateful for my life and thank God.
"I don't care about what I lost... our lives are not replaceable. I've been given a second chance."

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that poor Lee had to deal with haters shortly after her accident.

She had to put shade-throwing trolls in their place whilst recovering in ICU.

It seems that some people would be negative no matter what - you can't be loved and given kindness by everyone.
