Somizi's reality show, Living the Dream With Somizi, was named the highest-rated in South Africa about 3 months ago. With that in mind, it's no wonder so many fans are already missing the programme.

The show kicked dust in the eyes of competitors such as Zodwa Wabantu Uncensored and Being Bonang, but came to an end as the year draws to a close.

The reality show gave fans an inside look into Somizi's life as he enjoyed love, new deals and just being his fabulous self.

Briefly.co.za thought it would be nice to see the five moments that entertained fans the most during the show's time on air.

1. Showering his mother with love

To show his mom that he truly appreciates her, Somizi gave her R1 000 for every year that she lived. The lucky lady turned 79 so she received R79 000 from her loving son.

2. Getting glamorous outfits for the Durban July

Somizi and hubby Mohale gave fans a look at how their costumes came to be. It always comes as a surprise to see all the planning that goes into looking amazing.

3. A sneak peek at their wedding plans

The couple also let fans see how they were planning on getting married and previewed a wedding venue back in September.

4. Meeting Mohale's grandparents and discussing the traditional wedding

Mohale had to meet with his elders to discuss his traditional wedding before the big event.

5. “Mr Tell Like It Is”, TT, made a brief return

A favourite with fans, “Mr Tell Like It Is” TT showed up to throw jabs at Somizi and make viewers laugh. He did in his own way make it clear that he values the entertainer's friendship.

With so much that happened in the show this year, fans can't wait to see what will happen in 2020.
