It looks like South Africans are tired of Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha, and ready to cancel the pair.

For most of the year, the couple has been making one headline after the other, and never for anything good.

There were alleged hacking allegations that saw Babes' social media account making xenophobic comments, her cyber-bullying of Lady Zamar, and Zim festival organisers fearing for Babes' safety after the comments on her account, to name just a few.

Now, the couple got chased off the stage at the Goduka Music Festival, according to ZAlebs.

The Daily Sun reported that the crowd were so unhappy to see the two musos on the stage that they threw bottles while booing them.

Mjosty, comedian and event organiser, had this to say about the incident:

"Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha did arrive at the event but couldn’t perform. This as maskandi fans were no longer interested in seeing them, so I advised them to stay backstage for their safety. Anyhow, I’ll pay their fee."

Babes and Mampintsha have been on the receiving end of negativity for a while now.

Briefly.co.za reported that when Mampintsha shared a video of them singing Ed Sheeran's Perfect, they got roasted quite brutally.

Perhaps its time for the couple to rebrand and do something new in 2020.
