A woman has expressed her gratitude to a kind stranger who helped her through a difficult time. The man found her hungry while she was a student and insisted on buying her food for a month. The grateful lady is now a successful graduate, all thanks to the stranger's helping hand.

Andiswa UMxhosakazi Msutwana took to the Facebook #ImStaying group to share her heart-warming story. She thanked Stemray Lesch for being her hero.

"The day I met him I was going for a second day without food, he immediately noticed that something was wrong and asked if I was okay."

The man not only bought her lunch but food to last her the whole month. He continued to give her R600 every month for the whole year.

"If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be here because that day I was dropping out of varsity."

Today, Andiswa is the first graduate in the family. Facebook users were amazed by the act of kindness. Sipho Mashau said:

"Congratulations and may God bless your superhero."
