- The ladies discussed how incredible it is that all the major US beauty titles are occupied by black women
Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi is currently doing her media rounds in the States.
She relocated there after making Mzansi proud and winning the Miss Universe title.
Tunzi was joined by Miss America and Miss USA for an exclusive interview with CNN.
The ladies marvelled at the fact that Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss America, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA are all black women.
"I think black women need this," Miss America Nia Franklin said.
"It's a symbol, and it shows that no matter where you're from, what country you're from... you can be successful."
"We can't be what we cannot see," 26-year-old Tunzi said.
"I think that's why this is so important, because then young girls can look at us and feel like they, too, are important."
Tunzi is fast winning fans overseas too. A few took to social media to say how graceful, poised and intelligent she is.
Briefly.co.za reported that Tunzi is also scheduled for an interview with Trevor Noah soon.
