Hat-trick for Middendorp: Chiefs coach collects 3rd Absa Premiership award

Ernst Middendorp has bagged his own hat-trick. The Kaizer Chiefs coach was awarded the Coach of the Month award for the third time in a row.

The Kaizer Chiefs took to Facebook on Tuesday to congratulate their coach for his "unique hat-trick."

Briefly.co.za learned Ernst Middendorp bagged his third consecutive Absa Premiership Coach of the Month award, at a ceremony hosted at the PSL Offices in Parktown this afternoon.

Amakhosi fans were quick to congratulate Middendorp on his stellar performance as the Chiefs coach.

Codnell Makaringe commented:

"Congrats my coach, the German mentor. I remember when you were brought back to Naturena, most of my friends (and Facebook comments) were criticising but I believed you were gonna bring back the Glory to us fans."

Lethabo Lebereki wrote:

"Well-done the German technician and the entire technical team we are proud of you... Keep the momentum and win the league at the end of the season we believe in you."

Matimba Nkanyavanhu added:

"Three times in a row, congratulations coach. This happens for the first time in PSL history."

Katlego Kaygee Kekana said:

"Well done coach. This could be the biggest season of your coaching career in the PSL. Nedbank is still up for grabs. Maybe a double this season? Hopefully!"
