No matter how famous someone is, there is always a time where the question is asked, do you know who I am? Drake was recently in a situation where he had to answer the infamous question.
The Canadian rapper, singer, the actor has made a name for himself in his home country. It was his stardom that helped him assist American producer, JestsonMade, gain entering into Canada. So should you ever have difficulty with authorities in Toronto, it would be a good idea to have Drake’s contact number.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Drake, as famous as he is, also has times where he has to be humble. He was booed when he made an appearance at Tyler the Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw. Being the person he is, this had no influence on him and he went on to make other unannounced appearances or go ahead and produce new music.
Drake was taken by surprised when he was asked by security if he had permission to be in the place he was. The video that went viral showed the OVO rapper checking in at a nightclub and getting totally confused with the security being unaware of or not acknowledging his status.
It is not clear what exactly was said because of the loud music in the background. From the face expression on Drake’s face, it is safe to say that the question being asked was more than likely, who are you with? We take it that Drake’s response was, do you know who I am?
Perhaps Drake’s reaction was off-the-cuff and did not mean to sound arrogant. A concert was held in Toronto on Tuesday, which featured DaBaby. It was a major highlight for the North Carolina rapper. An Instagram clip was shared of the performance with the caption, "Shared the stage with a legend tonight."
