The two shop owners shared a unique advertisement that they'd be open for business on Christmas day, but revealed a twist.
Between 12pm and 14pm, they invited any lonely souls to pop in for a free mince pie and a hug.
The kind couple added that visitors are regarded as family.
The unique message was photographed and shared via the #ImStaying group on Facebook.
Briefly.co.za noted the huge impact as the post went viral, attracting more than 20 000 likes and more than 1 000 comments.
