Local celebs reacted to a photo of Babes Wodumo that shows her looking unhealthy and drastically thinner.

The photo surfaced on social media earlier this week and had her fans really worried. reported that one fan likened Babes to Amy Winehouse, saying that the country is watching her die.

Although it's not clear if the singer is truly in such a bad state, or that the photo is genuine, there is a lot of concern for Babes.

The photo was apparently taken in Havana, where Babes and her boyfriend, Mampintsha, are believed to have performed.

Local celebs have also taken notice of the photo and they reacted with concern as well.

News24 have attempted to reach out to Babes' family but have not received any comments yet.

Lorna Maseko shared her worry on social media, saying that she hoped Babes has people who will stand by her and love her during what may be a difficult time.

"My heart really goes out to Babes Wodumo and whatever is going on in her life. We have a culture of kicking a dog when it’s down and almost celebrating people’s downfalls. I really pray she has people that love her and will carry her out of this mess - honestly!"

Cassper Nyovest showed unyielding support for the G-qom singer, saying he would book her and that she still has a lot of talent.
