Mashaba encourages positivity: Asks citizens what they love about SA

Herman Mashaba is getting South Africans talking, and it's not all negativity. The politician has encouraged citizens to share what Mzansi is getting right.

Former Joburg mayor Herman Mashaba launched The People's Dialogue, asking SA what they felt needed to change in the country.

Now, the politician, along with former Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane, is calling on citizens to share what is great about living in good old South Africa.

Using #SASpeaks to collect the bubbles of happiness, Mashaba has been encouraging positivity in the country and people have been taken by the change in pace.

From diversity to the country's naturally majestic landscapes, citizens have poured their love for Mzansi out on social media.

Briefly.co.za reported that Mashaba had taken SA by surprise when he indicated his willingness to take whichever post the nation wished him to, as long as the party involved shared his ideals.

While Mzansi will have to wait until March to see what Mashaba has planned for his movement, it has been exceeding expectations thus far.
