News of comedian, Angelo Lozada's, death surfaced today. He died after a sudden illness.

Trevor Noah posted a touching tribute to his fellow comedian and father figure on his Instagram account.

Noah posted a series of pictures of him alongside Lozada.

He wrote, “When we started our journey together we were driving around the US trying to make 300 people laugh at a time. Six years later we were travelling the world performing together in arenas. Comedian, father, brother, husband, friend. I love you, Pop."

Noah's fans rallied around the superstar in his time of grief.
