A woman has left Mzansi social media users divided after she made a 'Makoti survival list'. In the list, she gives tips and advice on how to be a good wife especially around the in-laws this festive season. Some of her tips included keeping quiet unless spoken, stocking up on alcohol and being respectful.

Twitter user MaBhusulaGc shared the list on her social media account. A few of her tips included:

1. Keep your mouth shut. If you can’t fix it financially keep quiet.

2. Happy juice is essential, stock up.

3. Don’t gossip.

Other tips included being respectful and accommodating. Her post received over 2 000 likes on the social media platform. Some women were in agreement with her set of rules while others were left horrified. Twitter user Blak_indi said:
