- Kaone now wants back R14 000back that was paid to the singer to perform
Event promoter, Kaone Modise of Modkay Projects Company, is not at all impressed with local singer, TallArseTee.
The muso was meant to perform at the Rockville Spring Festival in Morokweng Village, North West, in September.
However, he never showed up and Kaone is furious. He now wants the R14 000 paid to the Ngwaneso Ngwaneso singer returned.
Kaone coincidentally realised that TallArseTee was double-booked when he spotted the man's WhatsApp status, according to The Daily Sun.
"When I asked him why he had other bookings on the same day as my gig, he told me not to worry as he would manage."
The musician was booked for the 3am to 4am time slot, but did not make it.
"When I called him at 2am, he didn’t answer. I thought he would call to explain, but he never did."
After missing the gig, TallArseTree offered to play for free at a next event, saying he did not have the cash to return Kaone's money.
Kaone said when he finally got hold of the singer, he claimed his manager had been trying to get hold of him to say he was in a car accident.
Briefly.co.za gathered that TallArseTee has since tried to sort out the mess and promised to pay Kaone as soon as possible.
"I had a delay in payment because I changed my management team. I will make sure he gets his money by the end of the week."
