George Lebese has finally found his new soccer home. The former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder signed a deal with a club in the United Soccer League Championship.

Taking to Twitter, the American second division side Colorando Springs Switchbacks announced the news, adding Lebese will bring a "new dynamic" to their team.

Lebese has been without a club for nearly four months now and South Africans had a lot to say about the midfielder landing an international deal.

Briefly.co.za saw Lebese trended on Twitter on Friday and we decided to take a look at some of the reactions the news gathered.

Naledi Chirwa wrote:

"Wow George Lebese. Not a soccer person but I was following his story and his last interview with Robert broke my heart. Genuinely happy for the boy. Setting up the mental energy for the coming year, 'trust the process.' Trust the Process!"

Major General, who goes by the Twitter handle @EliasChinemore, commented:

"What a come back from George Lebese, some few weeks ago he was on Rob's show speaking about how local clubs don't wanna sign him, he was jobless and asking for help, but when you have talent the universe will find you, quite chuffed for him. Hope he grinds hard and shines."
