While the House has passed a vote of no confidence on US president, Donald Trump, and impeached him using two articles, there is still more going on concerning American politics.
And that is aside from the fact that the Republican Senate will be carrying out their impeachment proceedings come January.
It is, however, the case that Americans are using the same medium the president loves so much, Twitter, to get back at him.
On Thursday, Americans went on Twitter to dig out a tweet that Trump made about impeachment in 2014.
In the said tweet, which was likely directed at the then-sitting president, Barack Obama, Trump asked rhetorically if the House was allowed to impeach a president for gross incompetence.
The citizens of the country have been subtweeting the comments with diverse mocking opinions that point to why his present impeachment is deemed necessary.
Others said his 2014 question has been correctly answered.
