- Amapiano has definitely taken over the airwaves in the last year
- One person who is pleased by this is designer Thula Sindi
- He likened gqom music to the sound of "a dustbin falling down stairs"
SA designer Thula Sindi has had enough of gqom music to last him a lifetime.
On Thursday, he retweeted a tweet dissing gqom. It was originally sent out by actor, Aubrey Poo.
He wrote,"If we are being completely honest our nerves & mental state as a country could only take Gqom for a couple of years."
He doubled down on his opinion by saying that gqom sounded like a "dustbin falling down stairs".
It seems that majority of Sindi's followers agreed with him.
What do you think? Is it really all over for gqom music?
