Cape Flats residents fear retaliation after senior 28s gang member shot

- Two men from the Bad Boys gang allegedly shot Ghetto while he was sitting in a car after a drug delivery

IOL News reports that children in Leonsdale, Elsies River had to flee for their lives as gangsters started shooting at each other in the area.

During the shoot-out, a senior member of the 28s gang, known as 'Ghetto', was killed.

Now residents of the Cape Flats fear that retaliation will give them a bloody Christmas.

Briefly.co.za learnt that people living in Norwood Road watched in disbelief as two gunmen shot and killed the 27-year-old man while he was sitting in his car.

A witness who wanted to remain anonymous said:

"He is a dik ding (senior member) in the 28s and the Terrible Josters. He was sitting with another guy in a silver Toyota when the Bad Boys shot him. He had just delivered drugs for the Terribles and his friend escaped."

Mihlali Majikela, a police spokesperson, has confirmed the incident and said no arrests have been made yet.
