Finance Minister Tito Mboweni and President Cyril Ramaphosa got together to wrap up some business recently. Mzansi appreciated the return of Mboweni's infamous footwear and it seems Ramaphosa has signed up to the same club.

South Africans, for the most part, are settling into the Christmas holidays for a bit of rest and it's showing.

People were less interested in politics when President Cyril Ramaphosa got together, and more keen on debating the fashion on display.

Briefly.co.za reported that Mzansi suspected the Finance Minister had a sentimental attachment to the aged looking boots after he rocked up to political events in them.

Ramaphosa was sporting an equally worn pair of shoes and the duo looked like a walking advert for shoe polish.
