It's Christmas Day, the perfect time to spend with family and friends. It's also a time to reflect on those who are no longer with us. Briefly.co.za asked readers who they would bring back to share this special day with if they had the chance.
Many of our readers shared that they would bring back late family members. One of them was Lisa Gazo, who said:
"Oh Kaise my sister... its gonna be our 1st Xmas without her. She would sing the whole night, its going to be a dull Xmas ngaphandle kwakhe"
Precious Nyandoro Chimusoro said:
"My mom, she died on the 23rd of Dec and buried on the 25th Christmas Day"
Khanyo Nzimande said:
"My son he passed on at a young age and I still miss him. To look at mothers and their little sons still makes me cry."
Sthokozisiwe Hlongwane said:
"My mom... I miss her so much. She was the glue that was holding the family together."

"My own family that got divorced and everything fell in pieces. I miss them now and then... more especially during festive seasons since is more about family."

"My mom and my youngest brother. My mom passed on the following day just after celebrating my older sister's birthday on the 28th of November 2005 and my youngest brother passed on while I was on my way to meet him in 2016."

"My dearest mom, she passed away this year September. It's my first Xmas without her, and my dearest brother it's my second Xmas without him, he passed away last year October."
