Taxi drivers dressed in dresses to support a campaign against women abuse, actress Itumeleng Bokaba had a groovy baby shower, Zozibini Tunzi delivered the perfect answer about her love life, Helen Zille threw shade at Juju’s school: “His kid goes to Curro”, and fans reacted to Cassper Nyovest calling Bonang "Mega Star Miss Universe".
Taxi drivers don't enjoy the best of reputations within South Africa. The group of employees are often associated with lawlessness, poor driving and obscenities.
However, one group of drivers challenged that perception as they stood together in support of a noble cause.
Mosala Mabeleng revealed how he and a few other drivers braved the streets in dresses and high heels as they attempted to put themselves in women's shoes.
The show of solidarity was inspired by the recent campaigns combating gender-based violence. Mabeleng shared photos and details of the gesture via Facebook.
Rhythm City actress, Itumeleng Bokaba is the latest Mzansi celeb to join the batch of stars who threw a lavish baby shower this year.
Many celebs announced they were having a baby this year and went all out to celebrate their little one’s arrival. Itumeleng’s baby shower was held last weekend, which she named it ‘Itumeleng’s Baby Sprinkle’.
However, the actress did not reveal the gender of her baby, so her shower had a mixed theme. Itumeleng’s close friends and family, and a few of her Rhythm City co-stars including Amo Chidi attended her baby shower.
Petronelle Tshuma and Tebogo Khalo were also there.

When Miss South Africa, Zozibini Tunzi, was crowned Miss Universe, she immediately became the most eligible bachelorette in the world.
The hottest girl worldwide has already been teased about her love relationship on social media, with most wondering where she stands in that part of her life.
Even Mzansi has a growing list of men who they would want Zozi to date, from Trevor Noah to rugby star, Makazole Mapimpi, while others are hoping she finds and settles down with a billionaire during her reign in America.
But Zozi’s response to the question everyone wants to know about her love life was nothing short of classic. In an interview overseas she said:
“I’m just in a relationship with the universe right now… so that’s what it is.”

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema recently shared a noble ambition to build a private school in the township of Alexandra.
The school is meant to service children of impoverished parents and Malema aims to achieve the goal within the next five years.
However, Briefly.co.za noticed South African Defence Union national secretary Pikkie Greeff wasn't overly-impressed and shared a light-hearted response via social media.
Via his Twitter handle, Greeff shared the below response: "5 years for 1 school? Someone introduce this guy to Curro."
Former Western Cape premier Helen Zille then seemingly jumped on the bandwagon and added that Malema's child attends the well-known private school.
Social media users may have misconstrued a tweet for throwing shade when Cassper Nyovest responded to Bonang Matheba wishes him well for his birthday.
This past weekend was a big one for Mzansi muso, Cassper Nyovest. Not only did he host his fifth biggest Fill Up concert at Royal Bafokeng Stadium, but it was also his birthday.
Many celebs including, media personality, Bonang Matheba, shared beautiful messages to Mufasa on the day. But Cassper’s response sent his fans on overdrive as his choice of words left tweeps laughing out loud and questioning what he really meant.
To put you in the picture, Bonang is the ex of Cassper’s rival, AKA, who’s nickname is Supa Mega. Cassper responded:
