UK popstar, Harry Styles, bagged an exceptional music milestone in his career as his Fine Line album landed on the Billboard 200 chart at the number one spot.
UK singer and songwriter, Harry Styles’ album, Fine Line, landed on the Billboard 200 chart as his second number one album.
According to Nielsen Music, the set, which was released on 13 December, earned 478 000 equivalent album units in the U.S in the week ending 19 December.
The whopping figure marks the biggest week for a pop album by a male artist in over four years, which is the largest for a Columbian album in over three years. It is the third-biggest overall for any album this year. Fine Line also scored the largest sales week by a solo UK artist since Nielsen Music began electronically tracking sales data in 1991.
For those who don’t know, the Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. The units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums and streaming equivalent albums.
The new 28 December chart, where Fine Line debuts at number one, will be posted in full on Billboard’s website on 24 December.
Meanwhile, just over a week ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles gave off rather vibey vibes recently when they took a seat together on The Late Late Show.
The two dated briefly and have been seen conveniently bumping into one another many times over the years.
Briefly.co.za learnt that on 10 December, Kendall and Harry sat to share a rather questionable meal and a little quizzing on The Late Late Show.
