- EFF leader Julius Malema took art in an impromptu Q&A session on social media
- From Eskom to the ANC, Malema spared no blows in his responses
- Briefly.co.za takes a look at what citizens wanted to ask the Red Beret boss
Julius Malema held a late-night question-and-answer session on Instagram over the weekend and things got heated.
When asked for his views on the current difficulties facing Eskom, the EFF leader responded simply that the entity is 'useless'.
Another citizen wanted to know when Malema would bury the hatchet and return to the ANC, but the Red Beret boss is adamant it won't happen in this lifetime.
As for the most pressing issue facing South Africans, Malema says unemployment is a plague, especially when it comes to young citizens.
Touching on the ruling party again, Malema blamed the ANC for failing to deliver basic services, particularly in more rural areas.
One person wanted to know what his thoughts were on removing President Cyril Ramaphosa from power, to which the EFF boss responded:
“It’s in your hands guys, don’t abdicate your responsibility."
Taking things to a more personal level, Malema credited his weight loss to a lifestyle change saying that water is life when it comes to being healthy.
Briefly.co.za reported that Malema was recently nominated to lead the EFF uncontested at the party's second National People's Assembly.
The party may has faced down its share of drama this year, but has undeniably come out of it in a stronger position politically.
