House singer Bucie was allegedly assaulted by her husband, Nhlanhla Nkomo, in September.
The official charge against Nhlanhla is assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Daily Sun has got hold of a police report that details the entire incident.
It happened on 25 September at about 9:40pm in their Roodepoort home, west of Johannesburg.
According to a police statement, Bucie was in a bedroom in their home when Nhlanhla grabbed her cellphone from her.
Nhlanhla left the bedroom with Bucie's cellphone and started going through it.
When Bucie followed him and demanded her phone, he slapped her across the face.
32-year-old Bucie pushed Nhlanhla down the stairs, but he returned to continue to assault her.
He's alleged to have repeatedly slapped the songstress and also punched her in the face and head.
The police report states that Bucie had no visible injuries and it is not clear if the case will go to court.
Neither Bucie nor Nhlanhla responded to questions about the incident.
Judging from Bucie's Instagram page, the couple is still very much together.
Since September, Bucie has posted multiple pictures of the two of them hanging out together and still wearing their rings.
