A lady, @sithabileNG, has gone viral after she posted photos online showing a party she held in honour of her mother and father's 35th wedding anniversary.

Briefly.co.za learned her parents were under the impression it was her grad party.

Her post read:

"14 December 2019, I decided to surprise my parents with 35th wedding anniversary (the whole time they thought it's my grad party). Mind you my mother never had a white wedding, I made her wear a white dress and said such dresses are currently in fashion."

In another post @sithabileNG wrote:

"My December 2019 might not be all hype financially but I'm happy my money went to something I have always wanted to do for mom and dad."

Social media users applauded the young lawyer for the special event she organised for her parents.

Twitter user, @chataika, commented:

"This is truly special. Such a pick-me-up to come across your beautiful story and generosity of spirit. Your parents created a real diamond in you. You should be eternally proud for doing this for them as I am sure they too are."
