Social media has made life so much easier. We are now able to communicate with loved ones in a matter of minutes. It has also become a place where long lost loved ones have found each other. A brother recently reunited with his long-lost sister after posting a childhood picture of her online. The amazing story had Mzansi social media users excited.

Twitter user Season98 shared a picture of a young girl and asked the social media platform for help in finding his sister. After lots of retweets, a woman that goes by the handle MelMadiba responded by saying:

"Hey. I think I'm your sister"

The post went viral online as many expressed excitement over the possible reunion. The tweet got over 8 000 likes. Social media users wanted to know all the details of the reunion, so much so, that the woman had to respond with a follow up tweet:

"Hey everyone. Thanks so much for the well wishes. I will meet my brother and maybe we’ll share a pic. Everything else is really none of your business, some of you are weird haibo!!"

Nevertheless Twitter users were still keen to know the developments of the story. Social media user Olepiob said:

"Please vlog this, we need good content on these SA youtube streets"

"This is Good news but...where were you?"
