1. Baby Archie is born

In May 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child - a son named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The royal couple introduced their bundle of joy to the world a couple of days after his birth at St George’s Hall, Windsor Castle.

2. Prince Harry and Meghan's trip to South Africa

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex toured kickstarted their Royal African tour in South Africa, before Prince Harry flew to Botswana, Angola, Malawi.

The royals' entire trip was documented on social media and one of the highlights was Archie meeting Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

3. Queen Elizabeth bestows grandest honour to granddaughter-in-law Kate

Seven months ago, Queen Elizabeth has bestowed the Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, a new title, Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, for services to the Sovereign - which is the highest rank in the order personally granted by the queen.

4. The Queen has passed away

Earlier this months, rumours surfaced online claiming Queen Elizabeth has passed away at the age of 93.

However, a representative of the royal family quickly shut down the rumours, revealing the monarch is alive and well.

5. Faf de Klerk meets Prince Harry in his SA-flag undies

After the Boks won the Rugby World Cup, Prince Harry visited the champs' dressing room to congratulated it.

Faf de Klerk started trending after a photo showed the scrumhalf meeting the Duke of Sussex dressed in nothing but his SA flag underwear.
