A video was recently shared via social media which showcases the talent of a young boy.

The footage reveals how he builds a motorised vehicle from scratch, using nothing but scrap material.

Based on the design, the car seemed to be a cabriolet model, as the roof opens and shuts by way of electronics.

The video was shared on Tuesday by South Africa Live via Facebook and immediately started trending.

Briefly.co.za observed that many responded positively and lauded the youngster.

Ntibane If wasn't sure how to classify the boy's ability:

"I am not sure if one can call it a talent of technical ability which need to be directed to a technical school and nurtured."

Rudi Kruger was blown away by what he saw:

"Wow i have no words for this kid.Well done never give up your talent you will get far in live."

Morena Chaka was so impressed that he wanted to contact the youngster:

"How can i get a hold of that fellow?"

Gurumbela Ramphabana explained that he had something in common with the boy:

"I used to do this during the age of 10\12, but didn't recognise."
