King Monada gave South Africa Malwedhe, and they adore him for it. The song helped the muso skyrocket to fame basically overnight.

Since then, the Limpopo artist has become synonymous with Dezemba vibes and it just isn't a party without his music playing.

Despite all the money and fame he now has, King Monada says he is still the same man he was before everyone knew his name.

With that said, he also does things the way he always did and hangs out with his old friends like he always used to.

"The song gave me recognition and I have decided to release another album next year, March. With all the popularity, I'm still the same man. Fame and money has not changed me and will not change who I am.
"I'm still King Monada and my old friends are still my friends."
