During this time of year, South Africans are feeling even more festive than usual.
It therefore comes as no surprise that quite a few lighthearted videos have been trending via social media.
In this one, Twitter user HRH Neo (@Neo_Lekganyane) shared a hilarious video of a young boy who crashed his toy vehicle into a tree.

Neo tagged Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula and his caption read:
"The roads are getting worse Minister!!! @MbalulaFikile. He even fled the scene."
The comical caption and adorable actions of the boy struck a chord with social media users, Briefly.co.za noted.
