Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported Julius Malema had Mzansi swooning when he showed off his softer side with a beautiful message he penned to his wife on their fifth wedding anniversary.
The EFF leader gushed about his amazing spouse and it warmed hearts on social media. In honour of their anniversary and everlasting love, we took a look at five times Juju and Mantwa Matlala were a powerhouse couple.

1. Juju and his wifey attend a wedding - and the photos go viral
In October, Malema took to social media to share photos of how he and his wife spent the weekend.
Juju posted several snaps of him and his wifey at a wedding. The EFF leader wrote about having a bad day but ending it celebrating love with his wife by his side. Awww!
2. A family that votes together, stays together
Earlier this year in May, Malema and Matlala were the picture of unity as they cast their votes together in Seshego, Limpopo during the national elections.
Malema lost his cool when an IEC official told his wife to remove her false nail before voting. Juju slammed the official online and the IEC soon after released a statement confirming there was no such rule. Look at Juju defending his wife's honour.

Malema has made it clear how in love he is with his wife - he has previously dubbed her his strength and the authority.
However, Juju and his family often keep their private life out of the spotlight. So, South Africans were pleasantly surprised when the EFF leader shared a throwback photo of his wifey.
"Please, guys, don't tell her," he captioned a photo of his wife.
4. Juju calls Matlala "home"
In July, the EFF leader shared a photo of his stunning wife. Although he used a single word to caption the photo, Mzansi understood how much Matlala means to Juju.
"Home" - he captioned the pic along with an in love and smooch emoji.
5. The "perfect love" photo
South Africans dubbed the relationship of Malema and his wife, Mantwa Matlala, the 'perfect love' after a photo of them was posted online.
A cute photo of Juju and his partner was shared on Twitter which showed Mrs Malema fixing her hubby's tie.
