Burna Boy blames SA for beef: "they see their brothers the wrong way"

Burna Boy turned the mirror on South Africa when he opened up about his relationship with the country and its citizens.

Briefly.co.za learned that Burna Boy blames SA for the beef between him and the country saying that the problem lies in how South African's see themselves.

"The problem is in the reality of the situation, the problem is in how certain Africans see themselves and because of how they see themselves they see their brothers the wrong way. It’s just really misplaced and misguided anger and hatred and that does not help the unity of Africa and it’s a very deep rooted problem."

After he made his comments on xenophobia and South Africa he was dropped by Afropunk and the Africa Unite Concert according to sahiphopmag.co.za.

Earlier this year, Burna Boy called South Africa out on the xenophobic attacks that were taking place. Burna Boy, a Nigerian artist, expressed his unhappiness and urged foreigners to defend themselves.
