Mzansi's beauty queen, Zozibini Tunzi, has had a whirlwind of a year for 2019. From being a model to winning Miss South Africa and then Miss Universe.

Zozibini has been blessed with both beauty and brains which helped her win two extravagant pageants and make her marl on the world.

With all that she has achieved thus far, the dazzling Zozi only aims to achieve much greater success this year. Zozi took to Twitter to share her plans for 2020.

She tweeted: "To the year of disrupting toxic status quo! To the year of shaking tables! To the year of being fearless. Happy New Year."

Zozi's tweet gathered 22.2k likes, 3.2k retweets and 291 comments. Now that is remarkable. She is an inspiration worldwide for her directive in life.

Earlier today, Briefly.co.za reported that it might appear, success for Zozibini Tunzi has come very sudden. Growing up in a village in the Eastern Cape, Zozi has reached stardom by becoming queen of the universe.

What some people might not know, is that Zozi has been working hard for many years to be where she is now.

Briefly.co.za learnt that this model and beauty queen was born on 18 September 1993 in Tsolo, eSdwadweni which is situated in the Eastern Cape.

Her mom, Philiswa Nadapu, is a school principal in the area and her dad, Lungisa Tunzi, is employed at the Department of Higher Education and Training in Pretoria.
