Rachel Kolisi is the wife of our Springbok captain Siya Kolisi for a reason – she’s a strong, independent momma who will protect her family at any cost.
One thing about Rachel that many have come to love is the act that she doesn’t hide or live in her husband’s glory, she makes her own.
Briefly.co.za knows how many times Rachel has been slammed on social media. She’s married to Siya and she’s a total bombshell, peeps are totes just jelly.
Despite getting shaded on social media more times than anyone could count, Rachel has done her fair share of shading herself – gurl’s got no filter when it comes to her man or her children.
Here are four times Rachel let the haters have it:
Their Black and White Wedding
Being in an inter-racial relationship, Rachel and Siya got creamed for having a black and white wedding theme. Rachel, however, let peeps have it, reminding them that there is absolutely nothing wrong with her relationship and that the theme had nothing to do with it. They did and black and white theme to keep things simple, not because of the nature of their relationship.
Claims Siya is Just a Type to Her
Some felt that Rachel married Siya only because he was black. The whole inter-racial relationship thing was seen as a trend. Rachel clapped back hard and let everyone know that Siya is her husband, not just ‘a type’.
Women Sliding into Siya’s DMs
In March, Rachel tore social media apart when she publically confronted all the women who thought it would be okay to slide into her husband’s DMs.
Rachel completely lost it, swear words and all. She made it clear that she would not be disrespected in this manner again and that she clearly would not tolerate it or hold back if it does.
Boy’s Brought Home the Cup
The Springbok 2019 Rugby World Cup win raised red flags for those who knew how territorial Rachel is. Fans softly warned Rachel that Siya would be getting mad attention and that she should try ignore it.
Things only got worse though after a clip of Siya Kolisi “checking Miss SA out” went viral – Rachel did not take this lightly, but luckily she had endless support from her fans.
