While many of us were enjoying Christmas dinner with our families on the 25th of December, Pitso Mosimane and the Mamelodi Sundowns were hard at work in Algeria preparing for CAF Champions League match.
Briefly.co.za reported at the time that Mosimane opened up about the sacrifices he and his team have to make to be the best.
A twitter user shared an image of the most matches played in 2019 and it came as no surprise that the Brazilians topped the list with a total of 54 matches.
Mosimane then added that it is the consequence of always competing for silverware - they've won nine trophies in six years.
However, the Sundowns coach finally had the opportunity to spend some time with his family for New Year.
Taking to his Twitter account, Mosimane shared a photo of himself braaing meat to kick off the new year.
"At home finally. What am I doing?" Mosimane captioned the pic.
Social media users were happy to see a relaxed Mosimane spending time with his family and they told the Sundowns coach he deserves a bit of rest.
