- Cassper Nyovest blew fans away with his verse on DJ Maphorisa's Phoyisa.
- It was all gravy accept for one vulgar line in Cassper's verse
- Cassper quickly did a clean edit after six-year-old DJ Arch Junior requested it
Cassper Nyovest has become embroiled in one of the largest rap verse controversies we've seen.
It all started when DJ Maphorisa asked Cassper to put a verse on his and Kabza de Small's hit song, Phoyisa.
Cassper was more than happy to oblige until some haters decided to troll him on social media and told him not to bother as he would ruin the song.
Eventually Cassper's fans convinced the rapper to ignore the haters and record the verse.
Cassper did just that and people loved it - accept for one vulgar line in his verse which meant it couldn't be listened to by children.
Popular child entertainer, DJ Arch Junior, brought this up in a tweet.
He requested that Cassper and Maphorisa do a kid-friendly version of Phoyisa.
At first Cassper was like "Nah" as the song wasn't meant for kids in the first place.
However, he's since changed his tune and did put together a radio-friendly version.
