- The Slovakian striker joins on an 18-month deal, but with the option to renew
- The 31-year-old has scored four times this season for his previous side
The transfer window has barely opened, but AmaZulu are wasting no time.
Usuthu have proudly announced the capture of Slovakian forward Miloš Lačny.
The veteran striker has signed an 18-month contract, but with an option to renew.
Daily Sun reported that Lačny has netted four times this season for SKF Sered in the Slovak Super Liga.
The 31-year-old has been around the block in eastern Europe as he's previously played in Kazakhstan, Czech Republic and Georgia.
Lačny's goal tally is nearly half of AmaZulu's total for the season (9).
Briefly.co.za understands this was the motivation to add the striker to their ranks.
Lačny will be tasked with sharing the goal-scoring responsibility with Bongi Ntuli.
KickOFF.com previously reported on coach Josef Vukušič's excitement regarding the signing of Lačny.
Vukušič said, "He has scored goals and played for big clubs in Europe, so he is a quality player."
