8 SA celebs make 30 Most Beautiful African Women of the Decade list

As the year 2019 ended a decade, Style Rave released their list of the 30 most beautiful African women who featured in the media, and among them are eight of Mzansi's own beauties.

Beauty, they say, lies in the eye of the beholder and Style Rave has compiled a list of 30 beauties who they believe are the most beautiful African women of the decade.

Eight South African celebrity women made it onto the RaveList.

The list includes African women living in Africa and those living abroad, such as Black Panther actress Danai Gurira.

The South Africans on the list are Nomzamo Mbatha, Basetsana Khumalo, Uyanda Mbuli, Bonang Matheba, Thando Thabethe, Connie Ferguson, Terry Pheto and Carol Bouwer.

Here is the full list of the 30 most beautiful African women of the decade:

8. Gelila Bekele: 32-year-old model, author, photographer, filmmaker, activist (Ethiopia)

9. Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde: 41-year-old actress (Nigeria)

10. Uyanda Mbuli: 41-year-old fashion designer, actress, marketer (South Africa)

11. Hend Sabri: 40-year-old actress, lawyer (Tunisia)

12. Joselyn Dumas: 39-year-old actress (Ghana)

13. Basetsana Kumalo: 45-year-old businesswoman (South Africa)

In a similar report, Briefly.co.za reported that former US first lady, Michelle Obama, was voted as the most admired woman in the world for the second time running.

She surpassed the current US president, Donald Trump, and his first lady, Melania Trump, in the 2019 Gallup’s annual poll.
