The UK royal family has released a very significant portrait covering four generations. The picture has Queen Elizabeth, Prince Williams, Prince Charles and 6-year-old Prince George.
The picture which was taken by Ronald Mackechnie in the Throne Room at Buckingham Palace was posted on the family’s Twitter page on Friday, January 3.
According to CNN, this will be the second time the royal family will be releasing a royal portrait. The first one was released to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday in 2016.
The photographer said that snapping the family was easier than shooting his family, saying the family was “very relaxed”.
"The royal family were easier than my family to shoot, I have to tell you," he said in an interview.
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za earlier reported that as the Queen prepared to broadcast her Christmas message to the world, the Royal Family shared lovely pictures the queen took in a similar occasion in previous years.
In the Queen's 2019 shoot, she could be seen sitting at a desk in the British royal home. At the far background of the picture is a Christmas tree.
On the side of the table are framed pictures. In the royal photo, the queen is spotted in a blue gown with a majestic brooch.
In another related news, Prince George was shown in a latest video happily stirring Christmas pudding as the Queen, Prince of Wale watched.
His father, the Duke of Cambridge also helped his son as he prepares the food. In the video, the duke could be seen adding what seems to be fruits into the bowl as his son mixed the condiments on to make sure they are well blended.
Prince George slapped at the mixing with his spatula as his grandfather, Charles laughed Sat his attempt.
