South Africans had a case of the giggles after a video surfaced online showing a man carrying his TV into what appears to be a pawn shop.

The incident, which some believed to have happened a year ago, was shared online under #JanuworrySurvivalKit by Twitter user Kealeboga Mothobi.

"January problems have started. TV Converted to Cash in Midrand Cash Converters #januworrysurvivalkit," he video was captioned.

Briefly.co.za gathered the video reached more than 11 100 views in just a couple of hours and South Africans found the video funny, with many adding it perfectly sums up January.

Social media users flooded Twitter with posts under the #JanuworrySurvialKit hashtag and we took a look at a couple of posts that had us laughing out loud.

Twitter user, @Kar_ree_, wrote:
