We're already just over a week into the new year, and while many people have set New Year's resolutions, others believe it's just a waste of time.
But Mzansi actor, Oros Mampofu, took to social media, specifically the 'gram', to explain the importance of new year's resolutions and why we should set those goals.
He captioned his video clip post: "RWO DIARIES. Day 2 of my gym routine for 2020 & it’s sucks But it’s got to be DONE !!! 2020 NO EXCUSES BABY What’s your New Years resolution for 2020???"
In the video clip, Oros spoke about how he battled during his day two of his gym routine, but now that the holidays are over, he needs to get back into routine, and staying healthy and aiming for his goals is part of that routine.
"Life is not about maintaining perfection. It's about getting up in the midst of difficulties. Don't forget that. I want to urge you guys, motivate you guys, as much as you may feel that these new years resolutions aren't necessary, starting new habits in the new year aren't necessary, it's great for your mind set. Go for it. Make it happen for yourself. Create new aspirations, new dreams. new mindsets and new realities for yourself. Coz at the end of the day, that's what it's all about."
